I have two minor questions to readers of this list:

a. do you think it is useful to send notices about ChangeLog changes to
this list?

b. what about adding differences between revisions directly to the message?
Do you want to see them directly in the body of message?

In the past I have realized that b. is very valuable when you are outside
of your usual work place and do not have easy access to anything but e-mail
or you are off-line at all.
Can you, readers of this list, comment on this so we can agree on
something? I'm willing to communicate the result to cvs-hackers.
