I think if cua is an emulation, then s-region should also be an
emulation.
Ok.
It could be construed as a subset of cua mode. Microsoft Windows
applications typically allow the user to mark a region by holding down
the Shift key while moving the cursor.
Is there a duplication here that ought to be eliminated, perhaps?
