Re: 23.0.60; font now succeeds

In GNU Emacs 23.0.60, a visible-to-users font now succeeds!
(After the merge, the 10x20 font did not.)

In the `Misc' sub menu, mouse-set-font (<S-down-mouse-1>) succeeds as
it should in a short test:

  for 9x15
    -Misc-Fixed-Medium-R-Normal--15-140-75-75-C-90-ISO8859-1

  for 10x20
    -Misc-Fixed-Medium-R-Normal--20-200-75-75-C-100-ISO8859-1

  for 11x18
    -misc-fixed-medium-r-normal--18-173-75-75-c-110-iso8859-1

which appear in x-fixed-font-alist in all lower case; I checked with
C-u C-x = (what-cursor-position with a universal-argument) which
provided the mix.

My default for `-Q -D' (.i.e., `--quick --basic-display') is
    -Adobe-Courier-Medium-R-Normal--17-120-100-100-M-100-ISO8859-1
which may be one of 
    -adobe-courier-medium-r-normal--*-120-*-*-m-*-iso8859-1
which is also in x-fixed-font-alist

Today's GNU Emacs CVS snapshot, Mon, 2008 Feb 18  10:46 UTC
GNU Emacs 23.0.60.5 (i686-pc-linux-gnu, GTK+ Version 2.12.5)
built by evaluating

  (progn
      (cd "/usr/local/src/emacs/")
      (compile "time make"))

and started with

     /usr/local/src/emacs/src/emacs -Q -D
