But when anybody raises reasonable concerns about a proposed feature, it's 
appropriate to try to address the concerns. In this case, I didn't notice that 
the optimization in my first implementation (now fixed) was rather useless due 
to the majority of symbols having property lists until you pointed it out. Nor 
would I have realized that I only have a fraction of the symbols that other 
people have. And if the interface should be changed, it's good for somebody to 
point it out.
