This is when using GNU Emacs 25.2.1 (i686-w64-mingw32) of 2017-04-24 cd emacs/lisp git pull git checkout -b scratch/try-rename-a-file git mv gnus-cloud.el gnus-cloudly.el git commit -m "Rename file gnus-cloud.el to gnus-cloudly.el" Then open emacs/lisp/gnus-cloudly.el in emacs and do 'C-x v l'
