The noun popularity has 1 sense (first 1 from tagged texts)

Measuring popularity of Johnny Depp by looking how much popularity got
Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jim Carrey and Emma Watson is simply fake
and misleading.

Popularity of Johnny Depp is thing for itself, popularity for Arnold
Schwarzenegger is popularity for itself.

This quick research is telling how many results for term "emacs" are
there per year on YouTube. It is not necessarily showing Emcas editor,
there is variety of stuff, so statistics cannot be accurate, but it
gives a good feeling that Emacs popularity grows and grows from year
to year, and that it is in 2020 more than ever before.
