emacs-28 ispell

Hi,

i'm trying to add prefixes to my ispell-skip-tex-alists following the recipe in

https://tex.stackexchange.com/questions/117204/skip-spelling-in-emacs-for-the-content-of-a-user-macro

AFAIR, this used to work for emacs-27 and I don't understand why it doesn't work anymore. 

Has anything fundamental changed in ispell?
