I think that use `re-search-backward' is like a botched job, idk
Ive a super simple irc client in Lua lang with a hook that can return:
server, msg text, user nick, user ip, user fullname. In variables
aviables.
I dont know why the powerfull emacs client ERC have not a hook like it.
