thanks for your reply.
Indeed, "C-u -1 C-c C-x b" is what I'm looking for.
So, in a nutshell, I wish that, using the agenda with follow-mode on,
hitting <up> or <down> would trigger (org-tree-to-indirect-buffer -1).
