Hello!
When in X11 default-directory is correctly set to my home directory,
when in Aqua/Quartz it's /. The same is true for GNU Emacs 22.0.50.
In GNU Emacs 23.0.0.1 (powerpc-apple-darwin7.9.0)
of 2005-06-15 on localhost
Distributor `Apple Computers', version 10.3.9
configured using `configure '--without-x' '--prefix=/usr/local'
'CFLAGS=-I/sw/include' 'CPPFLAGS=-I/sw/include' 'LDFLAGS=-L/sw/lib''
