Hi everyone...
First congratulations on getting emms into the official release of
Emacs!
And also thank you for the seek/pause functions, this makes things SO
much better for me, especially when evaluating the many new songs that
come my way :-)
OK so my problem is that all the emms stuff takes up quite alot of room
in my .emacs file and I would like to make a separate ~/.emacs.d/emms.el
file.
If I cut all the emms commands out of ~/.emacs and restart emacs I get
this error:
require: Variable binding depth exceeds max-specpdl-size
in ~/.emacs I have:
;;; Store custom conf files here
(add-to-list 'load-path "~/.emacs.d")
This means put any custom files in this directory and emacs will load
them yes?
Here is the contents of my ~/.emacs.d/emms.el
http://bzgirl.bakadigital.com/emms.el.html
So what is the proper way to keep emms configuration in a separate file?
Thanks alot!
