I am happy to announce that the big change is finally in, and Jitter can
now keep its promise of generating native code with no dispatch
overhead, on most GNU configurations and a few others.

The no-threading and minimal-threading dispatches are now enabled by
default on supported configurations.

My next important task, apart from fixing a few minor problems that
broke in the process (notably VM profiling) will be to update the PVM to
make it usable with no-threading dispatch. Of course I will send
patches to the list for review, but I expect no major problems.

New tag v0.9.264 .

Poke people: please do *not* use Jitter master yet, before the
forthcoming PVM update.

Regards,
