I should have checked more carefully.  Of course a 16-bit literal will
not fit a 16-bit instruction: I changed 1025 with 43 in the following
commit.

Done.  New tag v0.9.281.  Updated jitter submodule in both branches.

Romain, please test and tell me if the changed version works with
minimal-threading.
