Dear Ahmad,

For charged particles, an external alternating electric field can be applied:
https://espressomd.github.io/doc4.1.4/espressomd.html#espressomd.constraints.ElectricPlaneWave
Here is how to use it:
https://github.com/espressomd/espresso/blob/8b7d85e7dc94fe6e31f014357ec8267bac20b0ee/testsuite/python/field_test.py#L95-L113

Best,
JN

Dear Espressomd users,

I hope you are fine. Is there any way to introduce periodic force (
for example sinusoidal force) on a particle? I really apreciate if you
share with me your idea.

Best regards,
Ahmad Reza
