Hi, James.

Here is what I do:

1. Install Python 2.7 community edition from activestate.com

2. Is your system 32 or 64 bits?  If 32, skip this step.  If 64, download and install pycrypto from here.

3. Open command prompt, type "pip install fabric".

Enjoy!

So, I've been trying to figure out the proper procedure for getting
Fabric to work on a Python-free Windows installation, and I keep
bumping into weird errors.  I know from the archives that we've got
some Windows users in here - can any of you provide some tips?  I'm
very out of my element.
