Hi everyone in the Fenfire community!


We have good news. 

We have not been able to publish all of our source code before. That will 
be changed soon since we have found a way to do it. We are planning to 
found Finish co-operative. We are currently working with the rules of 
co-operative and because it shall be a co-operative for both users and 
developers it's time to publish what we have this far. 

For those who understand finish, Pellervo seura's website is good start.

The rules must officially be in Finish but we are writing English one at 
the same time. But let's start, there's mix of both translations.

1 Trade name and seat
=====================

The co-operative's Finnish trade name is *Fenfire osuuskunta*
and the English trade name is *Fenfire Co-operative*.
The seat is in Jyväskylä.

1 Toiminimi ja kotipaikka
=========================

Osuuskunnan suomenkielinen toiminimi on *Fenfire osuuskunta* ja
englanninkielinen toiminimi *Fenfire Co-operative* ja
kotipaikka Jyväskylä. 


2 Line of operations
====================

The co-operative's purpose and line of operations
is to develop and distribution of Fenfire and related
Free Software programs, proprietary licensing
of these programs, marketing and other economic operations,
and providing services to the Fenfire community.

2 Toimiala
==========

Osuuskunnan tarkoituksena ja toimialana on vapaan Fenfire-ohjelmiston
sekä siihen liittyvien ohjelmien kehittäminen ja levitys, näiden
kaupallinen lisensoiminen, markkinointi tai muu kaupallinen toimi,
sekä palveluiden hankkiminen Fenfire-yhteisölle. 


3 Members' duties to use the co-operative's services

Members are not obligated to make use of any services
offered by the co-operative.

3 Jäsenen velvollisuus käyttää osuuskunnan palveluja

Jäsen ei ole velvollinen käyttämään osuuskunnan palveluja.


4 Non-members' rights to use the services
=========================================

Non-members may make use of the co-operative's services.
However, the administration may restrict the use of
services if and only if it is in the co-operative's interests.

4 Muiden kuin jäsenten oikeus käyttää osuuskunnan palveluja

Osuuskunnan tarjoamia palveluja saavat käyttää hyväkseen 
muutkin kuin jäsenet. Hallitus voi päättää rajoituksia 
palveluiden käytölle vain ja ainoastaan jos se on osuuskunnan edun 
mukaista.


5 Application for membership, expulsion and resignation
=======================================================

To apply for membership, a written form must be sent to
the administration, which decides whether the application
will be accepted. The membership begins with the acceptance
of the application.

expulsion ???

A member can resign from the co-operative by informing
the co-operative in writing. The resignation
has been delivered when it has been given to a member
of the administration, the CEO, or any member who
is allowed to sign on behalf of the co-operative.

5 Jäsenyyden hakeminen, siitä erottaminen ja eroaminen

Osuuskunnan jäseneksi pyrkivän on tehtävä siitä kirjallinen 
hakemus hallitukselle, joka päättää jäseneksi ottamisesta. 
Jäsenyys alkaa, kun hakemus on hyväksytty.

Jäsenen erottamisesta ????

Jäsen voi erota osuuskunnasta ilmoittamalla siitä kirjaimellisesti
osuuskunnalle. Eroilmoitus katsotaan osuuskunnalle toimitetuksi, kun
se on annettu tiedoksi hallituksen jäsenelle, toimitusjohtajalle tai
muulle, jolla on oikeus yksin tai yhdessä toisen kanssa kirjoittaa
toiminimi.


6 Membership register
=====================

The administration maintains the membership register
in accordance to the law. The membership register
and the list of resigned members is kept in the
main office, to be XXXseen by the members and
creditors of the co-operative. The creditors and members
have the right to get a copy from the register or part of it
if they pay the expenses. Also anybody else 
who can prove that they need access to the membership
register has the same right.

6 Jäsenluettelo
===============

Hallituksen on huolehdittava siitä, että osuuskunnan jäsenistä
pidetään jäsenluetteloa lain vaatimalla tavalla. Jäsenluettelo 
ja luettelo entisistä jäsenistä on pidettävä osuuskunnan 
pääkonttorissa jäsenten ja osuuskunnan velkojien nähtävänä.
Jäsenellä ja velkojalla on oikeus saada jäljennös luettelosta tai sen 
osasta kulujen korvaamista vastaan. Sama oikeus on muillakin, jotka 
osoittavat etunsa sitä vaativan.


7 Shares and payment of shares
==============================

Members must participate in the co-operative with
at least one share.

The nominal value of one share is 500 Euros. The share price
needs to be paid by the member in one part to the
co-operative's bank account within 30 days of the acceptance
of the membership application.

Jäsen on velvollinen osallistumaan osuuskuntaan yhdellä osuudella.

Osuuden nimellisarvo on 500 euroa, minkä suuruisen osuusmaksun jäsenen
tulee maksaa yhdessä erässä osuuskunnan osoittamalle pankkitilille 30
päivän kuluessa jäseneksi hyväksymisestä lukien.

XXX Osuuden voi maksaa myös immaterialla, jolloin hallitus katsoo.


8 Voluntary share
=================

Members can participate in the co-operative with one or more
voluntary shares if approved by the general meeting.
The general meeting may confer the right to decide
about applications for voluntary shares to the administration.
The right can only be conferred to the administration
for at most five years at a time.

8 Vapaaehtoinen osuus
=====================

Jäsen voi osallistua osuuskuntaan yhdellä tai useammalla
vapaaehtoisella osuudella sen mukaan kuin osuuskunnan kokous siitä
päättää. Hallitus voi niinikään päättää asiasta, jos osuuskunnan
kokous on valtuuttanut hallituksen tekemään tällaisia
päätöksiä. Valtuutus voidaan antaa enintään viideksi vuodeksi
kerrallaan.


9 Extraordinary payments
========================

The co-operative can not collect extraordinary payments
from its members.

11 Liability for refinancing

There is no liability for refinancing.

12 Reserve fund
===============

A co-operative shall have a reserve fund. 
Five per cent of the surplus of the financial year, 
as shown on the balance sheet, less the losses 
of the preceding financial years, as shown 
on the balance sheet, shall be credited 
to the reserve fund. The reserve fund shall be augmented 
until it equals or exceeds one per cent 
of the balance sheet total of the co-operative. 
In any event, the reserve fund shall be augmented 
up to EUR 2,500.

The co-operative may have other funds in addition
to the reserve fund.

12 Vararahasto ja muut rahastot
===============================

Osuuskunnalla tulee olla vararahasto. Vararahastoon on siirrettävä
viisi(5) prosenttia taseen osoittamasta tilikauden ylijäämästä, josta
on vähennetty taseen osoittama tappio edellisiltä
tilikausilta. Vararahastoa on kartutettava, kunnes se on vähintään 
sadasosan (1/100) taseen loppusummasta, kuitenkin vähintään 2500
euroa.

Osuuskunnalla voi olla vararahaston lisäksi muitakin rahastoja.


13 Surplus
==========

Surplus may be distributed to the members if the
general meeting decides so. The distribution shall
be in proportion to the value of the shares held by
each member.
