Hello.
As far as I know ff3d has never been used to solve such a problem but, even if
I am not a specialist of Electromagnetism, I see no reason why ff3d could not
do it. Could you write the equations of your problem and describe the
computational domain so I can help you to write the ff3d's code to solve it?

PS: concerning FreeFEM++, I think this was already done.
