Hi everyone

Firstly, sorry about the delay in getting these things done - I really have been snowed under with work lately and I keep
promising to do these things but time just disappears on me.

I spent a large part of today working on the physics book and tinkering with the website. Just to let you know
what has happened:

* Second draft of the nuclear physics chapter has been integrated (Thanks to Sergey!) Its looking _very_ good. * Added a modern phyiscs chapter - this is where photoelectric effect is going to be explained and the zeroth draft is in. (Thanks Nolene!) * Added both of Asogan's essays (short on on pressure at beginning of heat and properties of matter, longer one after energy chapter on energy resources) I don't have all the pics in yet. This ties in very nicely with the nuclear physics chapter. * Some reordering of chapters has been done but its not optimal yet as I need to sort out my pstricks stuff for optics properly, but waves has moved forward a lot and so must geometrical optics. I am considering moving electronics to after the atom and
modern physics - any suggestions or comments in this regard are welcome.

A new pdf file is available on the website if you want to take a look at things: http://www.nongnu.org/fhsst/fhsstphy.pdf Its about 1.8MBytes in size now (344 pages in total and optics isn't in yet :).

An updated maths book is also up: http://www.nongnu.org/fhsst/fhsstmaths.pdf

Tomorrow I'll actually write some more content!

Cheers,

Mark
