Hi everyone

I just discovered another project which might be useful to us. They are also writing a physics textbook for free with a slightly different focus. They have started by converting a 1906 text on physics whose copyright has expired into LaTeX. From there they'll update and modernise. Most of the stuff they have right now is the real physical physics from back then - all heat transfer and properties of matter. Although we have more content than them, their content is focussed on the
area where we are most deficient so it could prove a useful resource for us.

Anything they have from teh 1906 text is public domain and they are using a Gnu license like us so
we can build on their content if its helpful.

Their page is: http://savannah.nongnu.org/projects/introphysics

Feel free to take a look and see if it can help you.

Cheers,

Mark
