It looks that you are trying to use Fle3 as a "learning management 
system" or "courseware system" and import your lesson materials to Fle3. 
Fle3 is *not* a learning management or courseware system.

We have designed Fle3 for group (learners) centered work that 
concentrates on creating and  developing expressions of knowledge (i.e. 
knowledge artefacts). This way in Fle3, more important than the 
instructors or teachers "lessons" are the shared processes of developing 
the group's knowledge.

This is a matter of choosing the right tool for the problem. Fle3 is a 
tool for one kind of learning, and there are tens of other software that 
supports other kind of learning.

In my own teaching I use ordinary web pages (sometimes just static html, 
sometimes in some content management system) to deliver my learning 
materials for my students. In the course web pages I then have link to 
the Fle3 where students are asked to do knowledge building and jamming.

By the way, have you notice our Call for Papers? We have decided to 
extent the deadline. It is now the end of February. There will be

We are editing a book of usage of the Fle3 learning environment in 
different educational practices. The book will be an article collection. 
The editors are me and Philip Dean. We invite submissions of articles 
dealing with:

* Fle3 in different educational practices.
* Experiments with Fle3.
* Pedagogical innovations facilitated by Fle3.
* Pedagogical and technical evaluation of Fle3.
* Technical integration and extension of Fle3.

The article should be no more than 7 pages with references.

The extended deadline for the article submission is 28th of February 2004.
