Yes, actually a link to announcements would logically be in the
webtop, at the same place as the links to knowledge building and
jamming for each course. Of course, you'll only get links to those
courses you're a participant of. Any better ideas?

But in addition we're adding links to ALL courses' announcement pages
into the login page of Fle3, so from there you have access to
everything.
