[Freecycle-users] Can't open midi files

Hello,

I'm encountering the following problem:
When I sliced a loop and assigned midi note numbers to the slices I
export a midi loop file. But I can't get any program to open the file.
Muse for example gives me the following error:
"failed: bad midifile: 'MThd' expected"
I tried seq24, muse, rosegarden, and they all can't read the midi file
exported by freecycle.

Anyone any hints on this one?
