Got it to work with automake 1.7.  But a problem is redhat's distros
don't go higher than automake 1.6.

Did you leap up versions on Debian just locally?? Do you expect most
people to on Debian to have 1.7?  B/c we used AM_CONFIG_HEADER in the
original libfreeipmi/fish projects.

If there's a definite conflict between distros, I suppose I can just
manually change configure.ac when necessary.
