Follow-up Comment #2:

Moving forward, we will shy away from Guile core. All new tools will be
written in C and existing Fish tools will be rewritten in C. It is sad but
true, there are very few system programmers with lisp experience.

The new UDM driver offers a cleaner interface to implement debugging probes
at the driver level.
