| I tried to use freeipmi on SE7320VP2 Intel mainboard.
| bmc-info (from FreeBSD ports) hangs, kdump output is as follows:
`----
VolcanoPeak motherboards should have mBMC on board and provide option
for IPMI-2.0 daughter card. I can get GNU FreeIPMI work on this
board. Can you give me remote access?.

This must have been fixed in CVS.

| After having looked at CVS logs, I assume that structure ipmi_device
| have changed some time ago, and not all source files use new
| structure. Is there a way to sucessfuly compile freeipmi which work on
| SE7320VP2 Intel mainboard, SE7320VP2, SE7221BK1, SE7520JR2 Intel
| boards (and other 1 U Intel platforms) or Tyan 2881 platform?
`----
Tyan S2881 works already. Our SSIF driver for SE7221BK1 requires
testing. Intel SE7520AF2 works too. I don't know about SE7320VP2 and
SE7520JR2 mother boards which are similar to AF. Intel is very
cooperative with us and I can assure you complete IPMI support for
them.

I always preferred a special skew of SE7520AF2 board (lacks onboard
SCSI controller and other unwanted features, costs around 450$) over
VP and JR for EM64T platform. I prefer SE7230NH1LX (PentiumD) over
SE7221BK1.
