Details:

the tar.gz that is created by make dist includes files such as
libfreeipmi/include/freeipmi/freeipmi.h, which should be created by
configure.

yet it does not distribute some files that would be created by configure (i.e.
man/ipmiping.8.pre).  Why this discrepancy?
