Hi All,

Wish you a happy new year.

Successfully compiled on FreeBSD with a little porting effort.
I tried this beta release on a FreeBSD based system we have.
The system is Intel chassis SR2400 having Intel SE7520JR2 motherboard.
I had problem using bmc-info and ipmi-sensors.

Used ipmi-locate to find driver and related info:
su-2.04# /usr/local/sbin/ipmi-locate
Probing KCS device using SMBIOS... FAILED
Probing SMIC device using SMBIOS... FAILED
Probing BT device using SMBIOS... FAILED
Probing SSIF device using SMBIOS... done
IPMI Version: 1.5
IPMI locate driver: SMBIOS
IPMI locate driver: 0
IPMI interface: SSIF
BMC I2C device: (null)
FATAL: error parsing base address *<====== (base address is returned 0x4 which its unable to parse)*
Register space: 1

Probing SSIF device using ACPI... FAILED
Probing KCS device using PCI... FAILED
Probing SMIC device using PCI... FAILED

Probing SSIF device using PCI... FAILED

Using info from this command:
ran
/usr/local/sbin/bmc-info -D SSIF
ipmi_cmd_get_dev_id(): ipmi command 00h: Command Completed Normally.
Channel Information:
su-2.04#
bmc-info produces just this.

Ran ipmi-sensors anyway.
su-2.04# /usr/local/sbin/ipmi-sensors -D SSIF --all
ipmi_cmd_get_sdr_repo_info2(): ipmi command 00h: Command Completed Normally.
ipmi_cmd_get_sdr_repo_info2(): ipmi command 00h: Command Completed Normally.
