is_ipmi_entry() looks for _SM_ signature 0xf7aa8000 using memcmp and
thats where it segfaults. To my knowledge SMBIOS is available only on
IA-32, IA-64 and x86-64 architectures. Running dmidecode confirmed no
SMBIOS or DMI tables on your SPARC system. Explicitly passing KCS
address also gave no useful output.
Sun's x64-64 based servers do support IPMI. I don't know about SPARC.
