Hi Amit,

CCing freeipmi-users.

I'm assuming you are trying to get an agetty prompt?  I can think of two
possible issues.

1) BIOS isn't redirecting serial data off the right COM port.  It
depends on your motherboard, but some motherboards require you to
redirect off of COM2 instead of COM1.

2) The getty isn't redirecting through the right tty.  e.g. maybe it
should be tty1 instead of tty0.  See /etc/inittab.
