The jist is that there is a new capability in Flash MX that enables
styled text widgets.  These rich text editing components demonstrate
that if these widgets are powerful enough to do rich text editing, then
they are powerful enough to do source code editing...and if they can do
source code editing then you could create an IDE in Flash...accessible
from anywhere you have a Web Browser.  

I bring this up because I have been hard at work producing a pure-Ruby
flash (swf) format library...working as part of the FreeMovie project
(http://freemovie.sourceforge.net/).  If we could have FreeRIDE generate
a Flash-based UI...now that would "whip the llama's ass" (quote from
winamp) eh?
