whew!
created new directory for plugins:
freeride/plugin (instead of freeride/plugins)
These contain the stuff that was in plugins renamed and the yaml files
updated and everything!...again...whew.
the only thing I can see that is not working is the toolbar, and I will
check out why.
Laurent: Can we get the freeride/plugins directory actually removed
from the cvs repository by the gnu folks...or can we get it removed in
another way that it never shows its face again?
I'll take care of removing the directory from the CVS repo and rename
the plugin directory to 'plugins' or shall I leave it as 'plugin'
One thing is I tried to remove the old 'plugins' directory and when
launch freeride an open a file it crashes withe the following error
./plugin/rubyide_fox_gui/editpane.rb:247:in `modified=': undefined
method `create' for nil (NameError) from
./plugin/rubyide_fox_gui/fxscintilla/scintilla.rb:529:in `modified='
from ./plugin/rubyide_fox_gui/fxscintilla/scintilla.rb:617:in
`handle_notification'
from ./plugin/rubyide_fox_gui/editpane.rb:93:in `initialize'
from ./plugin/rubyide_fox_gui/editpane.rb:92:in `call'
from /usr/local/lib/ruby/site_ruby/1.6/fox/responder2.rb:28:in
`onHandleMsg'
from ./plugin/rubyide_fox_gui/fxscintilla/scintilla.rb:418:in
`sendMessage'
from ./plugin/rubyide_fox_gui/fxscintilla/scintilla.rb:418:in
`sendMessage'
from
./plugin/rubyide_fox_gui/fxscintilla/scintilla_wrapper.rb:1115:in
`setText'
... 27 levels...
from ./freebase/core.rb:35:in `new'
from ./freebase/core.rb:35:in `startup'
from freeride.rb:53:in `startup'
from freeride.rb:66
So may be after all there are still a few things that haven't been
transfered to the new 'plugin' directory :-)
And I too can't see the toolbar
That's all. Let me know when you want me to remove the old directory.
