I'm new to this list since May.I am in the inhouse bureau management organisation unit of a computing center. My job is to support Windows NT / XP PCs, Palms, Handys, notebooks and other technical units of 3000 end users (validation of SW and HW, software distribution inhouse, building and intregration of new technics / technologies (SW and HW) for end users within projects). Computing is my hobby and now it is my job, although I am an electric engineer for message communications (high frequenz technology).
I found this tool FreeRide in the deep of the internet while I was searching for some tools to collect / build my own IDE. So I started to search a simple object language for fast developing and found Ruby. You know the advantadges of Ruby! (JavaScript within Mozilla as IDE-base was in my point of view not the best choice)
With such an IDE like FreeRide I will be writing / developing and testing my ideas of a new kind of "desktop".
I like to work within this developer group to make FreeRide the best Ruby IDE, after finishing my computing center project "Inhouse Windows XP and Citrix Client Rollout".
