I archived my .freeride directory (see attachment).
dotfreeride.tar
Description: Unix tar archive
I retried Freeride rc2 and got a different error:src/emitter.rb:1043:in `detect_implicit': stack level too deep (SystemStackError)

Looks like it fails half way creating new preference dir which in turn provokes our well known error.
Here is the .freeride dir right after this:
dotfreeride2.tar

I hope this will help regards Raphaël Marmier Le vendredi, 25 avr 2003, à 08:05 Europe/Zurich, Curt Hibbs a écrit :
Somehow, the zip file did not get attached to the bug report. If you stillhave it, can you please email it directly to me (address@hidden)? I also attachedthe configuration files into a zip in the bug report. cheers, Sakke -----Original Message----- From: address@hidden [mailto:address@hidden Behalf Of Curt Hibbs Sent: 25. huhtikuuta 2003 8:33 To: address@hidden Subject: RE: [FR-users] "undefined method `keys' for nil" when startingFreeRIDE Sakke Wiik wrote:I can't start FreeRIDE 0.5.0rc2 anymore. I even reinstalled the application and ruby itself without success. It might be that this problem started after i rebooted windows(Win2000).It looks like the fatal error is occurring when FreeRIDE is trying to read the config files. Reinstalling FreeRIDE does not touch these files. Trydeleting the config files (they will be recreated automatically) and see if FreeRIDE will start up.Look for a "freeride" subdirectory off of your home directory (in Windows, you home directory path is stored in the environment variable USERPROFILE).Just delete the freeride directory and all of its contents and then tryfreeride. On second thought, I'd like also like to find and fix this problem, so before you delete it, zip it up and post it with a bug report at: http://savannah.nongnu.org/bugs/?func=addbug&group=freeride Thanks, Curt _______________________________________________ Freeride-users mailing list address@hidden http://mail.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/freeride-users _______________________________________________ Freeride-users mailing list address@hidden http://mail.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/freeride-users_______________________________________________ Freeride-users mailing list address@hidden http://mail.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/freeride-users
