OCR_A_Extended.ttf causing crash

I have a font 'OCR_A_Extended.ttf' causing a crash
in freetype when trying to load and hint the tilde 
('~') character.

It is crashing in 'ah_outline_load.' Upon further 
inspection, I noticed that in face->glyph->outline,
n_points is set to one, and n_contours is set to 
21539.

It crashes here:
freetype2/src/autohint/ahglyph.c:498

This font came from the BeOS where it renders
this character as a square.

If you'd like the font file let me know.
