Shouldn't that tell you that FT needs to be modified/improved
and NOT that you should be writing another set of font format
parsers?!?!?!?
That's what GnomePrint already does, by the way..
And pretty much everyone else out there that is doing PS or
PDF font embedding (or at least reading metrics). However, that
just seems so backwards to punt all the great format handling code in
FT...
