Thank you very much for your answer, it was very helpful.
Now I have one more problem and once again hope very much on your help.
To build a PCL style True Type font I need the original Glyph Data for each
glyph,
as found in glyf table of the font.
As far as I can see Freetype does not provide access to glyf table data for
single
glyphs and data contained in FT_Outline structure are changed significantly
comparing
to the glyph data structure in glyf table.
If my understanding is correct, what do you think is a better way to
proceed:
to try to restore the original "glyf table" data for each glyph from
FT_Outline structure
(is it possible at all? will I find all the info needed?)
or to parse the glyf table once again to find the corresponding piece of
data for each glyph
(which is probably quite slow and will repeat the work already done by
Freetype!).
In the latter case I can probably use some ready Freetype routines... May be
you
could advice me on how to proceed and what routines to use?
Or may be it would be possible from your side to add a function to Freetype
which would just return the corresponding piece of data from glyf table for
each glyph?
It should be simple and would help a lot!
Thank you very much for your help,
