(this is, mails before 2005-01-01) are now available again in mailing
list archives!

Note that due to the painful conversion process (to remove spam and
virus emails) some information has been lost: If you find a reference
like this

you have to manually search through the files of the corresponding
month:

Sorry for the inconvenience.

On the other hand, the mailing list search facilities are quite
powerful so that this particular problem isn't that serious --
hopefully.
