[ft] Which modules to use + corrupt images in FT2 documentation

The PNGs in ftdoc2110.zip from sourceforge.net are corrupt.

Having compared an image with one on the web site, I can see that all the 
0x0A's have been replaced with 0x0D 0x0A.

Also, I asked this question over six months ago but then had to switch to a 
different project, so I forgot the answer...

How do I compile freetype with less than the full set of modules?  I know 
there's a source file I must modify, but which one?  I only want TTF and OTF 
support; which module(s) do I need for that?
