[ft] Autohinter bug when rendering DejaVu's Umlaut-o (ö)

Hello,

Some users using FC6 have problems with DeJaVu-Fonts as reported here:
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7441 when hinting style
is set to full or medium.
There are also screenshots illustrating the problem.

The DejaVu guys think this is most likely a bug in Freetype's
Autohinter, I don't have a development machine but could maybe someone
please try this with the latest version of Freetype (maybe this bug
has already been fixed, since FC6 was released?).
However it happens also with an updated FC6 version, but I don't know
wether Fedora updated FreeType to the latest version.
