You haven't told us which font you use actually...
If you suspect a FreeType problem please use the `ftview' or
`ftstring' demo programs to repeat the incorrect behaviour. In case
you can repeat it, the problem is very likely our library. Otherwise,
please file a bug report for your distribution.
