[ft] Question about text metrics

Hi! Sorry for my English=) I have some trouble with metrics: some glyph  has bitmap_top > than FT_Size_Metrics.ascender, and when I try to out letter, for example, to (0,0) point, top scanline at -1 at x coordinate.

How I calculate coordinates  for glyph's bitmap: 
     
    top_coordinate_for_glyph_bitmap = text_out_point + FT_Size_Metrics.ascender - glyph.bitmap_top


Is this formula wrong?
