First of all, thanks for the quick reply.
The issue was indeed that I did not realize what font units are and I did not
convert them.
Looking at the documentation it should be trivial to convert this to the device
units.
The `OS/2` table also looks very promising and will most likely solve all the
other issues I ran into.
