I wondered if that ad-hoc quote (requested by MJR, I might add) would fuel
some interest.

We're very new and, I believe, our aims are complementary to those of the
AFFS albeit they're geared towards the software production process and the
recognition of Free Software authors.

I didn't want to detract from the flow of the AFFSAC but I will be happy to
answer any questions, relating to the AFSP, if there's time in the
 proceedings for socialising. I will also endeavour to have some printed
 material available on the AFSP.
