Software Freedom Day 2011 in Manchester is on Saturday, 17th September
at Madlab and is part of the Hackademia schedule, preliminary details of

 CADIC cluster (EU), WIN (Women Innovating Networking (EU), LSE (London
School of Economics), London Multimedia Lab, Manchester Youth Elements,
MBS, Manchester Beacon, Together Works, ArcSpace Manchester (still more
to confirm) plus young and local entrepreneurs and students needing
business support


 Format: AM – Presentations

PM – Clinic sessions- ethical enterprise/funding issues, women in
business and young people in enterprise


 Evening entertainment : curry in Rusholme and informal networking

 *15**th** September Main Welcomes and Hulme Day*

Setting up of community eco residency space

Tour of St Wilfs and observation of sessions at ArcSpace

Tour of Leaf Street, Hulme Community Garden Centre, Tea at Kims

Welcoming guests and informal networking


 Entertainment Sandbar from 6.30pm. Food served and Hackademia DJs and

musicians playing until 1am
