Hi Michael,

I've asked for 60 copies of Linux Magazines to be shipped to MadLab (so that you don't have to arrange a time to come to my office collect the magazines like last year). And this is the address I gave them -

Yuwei Lin / Michael Dorrington
C/O Manchester Digital Laboratory (MadLab)
36-40 Edge Street
Manchester M4 1HN
UK

Perhaps you need to coordinate with MadLab about receiving the delivery just in case people at MadLab have no idea what this is about.

If you need more copies of Linux Magazine let me know today please.

Best wishes,
Yuwei

Hey all,

My name is Chris, an open source software advocate and developer who's about
to move into the city tomorrow and I thought I'd drop by here and say hi.
I'm starting a development job next week and in the meantime I'm checking
out what there is to do in and around the Manchester, and I hope to maybe
see some of you in the future.

Hi Chris

Welcome to the list and Manchester Free Software. As Simon said there is
lots going on in Manchester. If you into Open Source then you might be
interested in other software development methodogies like XP
http://madlab.org.uk/content/xp-manchester-16/ . On the Free Software
front please attend Software Freedom Day 2011 in Manchester at Madlab on
Saturday, 17th September and we'll have a chat about the Free Software
philosophy.

Regards,
Mike.
