Package (gcrystal-0.12.12-1 for Debian Wheezy) file list says:
/usr/share/doc/gcrystal/examples/CO2.gcrystal
/usr/share/doc/gcrystal/examples/CO2_C.gcrystal
/usr/share/doc/gcrystal/examples/CO2_O.gcrystal
/usr/share/doc/gcrystal/examples/NaCl.gcrystal
/usr/share/doc/gcrystal/examples/diamond.gcrystal
/usr/share/doc/gcrystal/examples/graphite.gcrystal
/usr/share/doc/gcrystal/examples/nickel.gcrystal
/usr/share/doc/gcrystal/examples/zinc.gcrystal
so they are actually installed.
