Hi all.

On Cygwin with configure as it is in CVS I get the following output:

checking Checking for buggy gcc version from redhat... no

add-defs1 mingw
using mingw.defs


towards the end of execution of the following comand:

 ./configure --enable-machine=mingw --prefix=g:/gcl

This results in a 0 length "makedefc" and FLISP not being defined in
"makedefs".

Same problem if I specify "--enable-bfd" (which is the default).

If I specify --disable-bfd, all is OK and I can compile GCL.

When I try running autoconf with the CVS version of "configure.in", I get
syntax errors at about line 7600.

Any hints from the autoconf gurus?  (I have version 2.53a of autoconf.)

This is stopping testing of the BFD stuff.
