I tried downloading the latest cvs, and now the -I../h is there
and xgcl compiles without errors.

The version of GCL that I just compiled, however, gives errors
when I try to compile a function.  We had that problem not too
long ago and Kay fixed it, but I don't recall how.  I've sent
her a message about that.
