I've applied your patches and put them in cvs.

Ugh. Yuck. Bleah. Maxima does not currently contain any C code, nor any
code that needs to be conditionally compiled only under Windows. I'm
afraid you are right, though -- xmaxima needs it, gcl does not. I'll
look into adding those files to Maxima.
