In response to this I resorted to reading the documentation for Innosetup
and what do you know, it is not only possible to set the default install
pathname, but it can actually be set to "c:\Progra~1\GCL-2.5.0"!

It will be in tomorrows installer (will be 20030227).

Strange but true.  It may be that someone will come up with another icon
anyway, otherwise maybe we can put it over a dark part of our desktops.
